Focus on Attention Management: It increases the ability to focus attention, which can be done at the individual and organisational levels. To understand attention management, people must know where they concentrate most. Most experts divide attention into four zones: (1) Intentional: - when working intentionally, people plan strategically and prioritise their activities. (2) Responsive: - people are responding to the world around them in this area. (3) Interrupted: - people spend too much time answering messages and handling situations that interrupt their work. (4) Unproductive: - occurs when people waste time at work. Unless you are on a scheduled break, checking Facebook and chatting is unproductive.
Attention CEO: The CEO guides the direction of their companies. The attention of a CEO will determine the attention management of an organisation. CEOs must focus the attention of their employees on ways to drive business and move the company in the right direction. Modern CEOs face the dilemma of attracting and keeping employees' attention. Understanding the different types of attention and implementing attention management techniques will allow CEOs to motivate employees towards more tremendous success. To accomplish this, CEOs must focus their expectations on (1) Internal Attention: - paying attention to internal procedures, and (2) External Attention: - focusing on objects outside the organisation.

Engaging in a professional debate, argument, or conversation is not a task to be taken lightly. It requires thorough preparation, a testament to your seriousness, respect, and value for your professional identity and brand. This preparation empowers you, giving you the confidence to present your views effectively and persuasively.
Identifying Appropriate Sources: The internet is a vast sea of information, but its reliability is a question mark. To establish credibility, it's crucial to compare data from multiple sources. This balance, essential for your words to be taken seriously, is maintained through sound research. Remember, your opinion should never be mistaken for fact, and your commitment to reliable sources enhances your professional image.
Establishing Credibility: It is essential to be sure of your facts. If you make even one factually incorrect statement, some people will doubt everything you say. If you want to keep the audience’s attention on what you are saying, it is advisable always to appear businesslike and efficient.
The Importance of Citations: Some groups or individuals are so trusted that citing their statements can be the deciding factor in getting people to agree with you. It is wise to go to a leading authority in the area you wish to discuss.
Being Prepared: Preparation serves several essential purposes. It is often said that those who fail to prepare, they prepare to fail. By preparing, you can look ahead to the debate and understand how it should and will go. It will also allow you to consider what difficulties may arise and have a strategy for dealing with each.

Live Online Radio Conversation: Unit 13, Conduct 8 - Following Up In Online Radio Conversation with Devesh Mothilall, Frans Rammutla and Sam Tsima. They are here to unpack the art of engaging in talk show conversations, a highly relevant topic to your profession. Its basis is LISTENING SKILLS! Most of us listen wrongly, listening to respond rather than listening to understand and empathise. This is why our responses are often off-tangent. This conversation continues our previous evening discussion at our TRAIN-THE-TRAINER (TTT) - Digital Online Streaming Mastery Programme. We have invited Frans Rammutla, an expert in The 7-Top Principles of Social Work, to link this topic to our conversation. This is to demonstrate that listening skills are required in all professions that require people to engage, including counselling, coaching, and holding talk show conversations.

HOLD THE SPACE: As the host or anchor of the show, you must hold the space for your guests to reach their best level possible. You are an enabler rather than a challenger. Our approach is to extract the best and share it with the listeners so that they are inspired, motivated, and elevated from listening to our conversation with our guest, who is the subject matter expert.
THE INTERESTS OF THE LISTENERS: The host and anchor are there not for themselves but to represent the listeners' interests, who must be able to engage directly with the guest. You'll need to put yourself in their position and ask pertinent questions on their behalf. This means you must be perspective, fully present, imaginative, and set aside your interests. But you must guard against manipulating them.

Global Online Streaming Mastery Show! We must be intentional in learning and applying affirmations daily until we master them, and they have become our way of being as talk show hosts and anchors. You do not just wake up and decide that you are going to affirm your guest. You must first learn the skill, acquire the competency, practice and develop the ability to apply it and gain experience until you have mastered the methodology. You must apply affirmation before, during and after the talk show. You will always come across people who need more confidence to accept your invitation to become the guests of your talk show. You should be able to apply pre-show affirmations to motivate and encourage them to take their first step. Then come the day of the show. They may be terrified to enter the studio, or in the middle of the show, they may experience a blackout. Your role as the host and anchor is to give them the necessary support. Some guests take many days post the show and have hangups due to self-judgement. This type of feeling may be damaging to your relationship with them. Please help them overcome this feeling and support them in moving forward. They must be assisted in seeing the past show as a learning opportunity and building on their experience to prepare for future shows. We call this post-show service and support. It also applies to seasoned guests of the talk shows. It is human nature to be self-critical. That is why we strive to give all the guests of the talk shows honest feedback. This includes producing the podcast of each show.
